after your game. We won't assemble in the Wembley Clubhouse.

2 blond moments in one!

Birgit to Frances after checking her hat: "Oh! I think you lost your ball marker"

Frances: removing her hat: "Oh no, it was my favorite"

both advancing to the green:

Frances: "Oh, I didn't lose it, it's one the green I marked my ball with it"

Stableford on Tuart plus Lot Six Zero Sunday breakfast

Finally a bit of cooler weather with the temperature in the mid 20°'s, a fair bit of cloud cover and no breeze to speak of.  Perfect weather for a game of stress free stableford on the Tuart Course; with 19 members and guest, Trevor Harris, making up the field of 5 groups.

Indeed, the day provided an opportunity for members to sharpen their game ahead of next week's 1st Round of the Club Match Play competition !

Puggy doing the housework on the Tuart before we start.
He is available for hire !

Carol and Vickie

Andrea takes a selfie with 'The Coach'!

Ready to Roll  !!

The first group take to the 1st tee

President Tony Gooch tees off on the 1st!

Paul C, Glen P and Naria getting ready

Here is Frances teeing off at the par 3, 3rd hole.

Moments before, Boris' tee shot only just reached the white tee markers, in fact it was so close it took some time for Frances and Boris to decide whether or not it constituted a 's#ut'!

Deliberations in progress!

You be the judge!

A little later, Puggy was showing his awsome form on the 8th hole when his second stroke nearly holed out, only to backspin about 3 meters, far enough to make the birdie attempt unsucessful!

Very nearly an Eagle!

Ohhhh! The Backspin #$%^&!

SOS President Tony Gooch opened the post match meeting and noted there were no birthdays to celebrate this week!

Tony reminded everyone of the breakfast planned for tomorrow morning at the Lot Six Zero eatery , Innaloo.  A great opportunity to enjoy good food and company and thank Glen and Linsey Pope for their sponsor support of SOS over many years.

The change in banking arrangements from ANZ to Westpac has been completed so, if you have not already done so, please delete your ANZ direct debit details from your on-line systems and replace them with the Westpac details - see below:

Stableford Results

SOS Captain, Andrea Williams, announced the most honest player award went to Vickie for scoring 21 points, thereby winning the packet of lollies and the honour of calling out the list of fines.

Andrea reads out the competition results.

However, Glen 'Pug Dog' Kelly, in a majestic display of golfing finesse, scored twice as much as Vicki, and a full 6 points ahead of 2nd placed Bernie with 36 points. Frances beat Shelley in a tie break for 3rd place, one point behind on 35 points.

THE PODIUM

Winner Glenn 'Pug Dog' Kelly with Bernie (2nd) and
Frances (3rd)

Guest, Trevor Harris scored 99 off the stick!

The Golden Hole was not claimed today leaving the $64 prize pool to be carried forward to next week.

Andrea on holes 3  &  17

Barry on hole 6

Coops on hole 7

Mark W on holes 1  & 10

Glenn K on hole 10

Novelties were strongly contested with Pug Dog taking out both the mens longest drive as well as NTP in 3 on the 13th.

Pug Dog scores 2 novelty prizes and well as a $40 gift card
 for winning the competition!

The ladies longest drive was won by Andrea who out drove Frances on the 1st hole.

The mens longest drive on the 9th hole was claimed by Popey, then Garry before Puggy outclassed them both!

Frances was the only contender for NTP on the 6th hole.

NTP in 3 on the 13th was won by Puggy who surpassed Goochy and Mark W

NTP in 2 on the 17th was won by Gary who outclassed Goochy and Puggy

Coops won the 1st prize in the raffle, looked on
enviously by Mark W and Shelley!

The Ash Tray collection reflected a considerable amount of misadventure by players who coughed up a total of $31.35 to add to the SOS Ash Tray Fund.

Shelly, Bernie, Vickie & Earle
